what are the server hardware specs?

where is it located?

what J server are you running?

Server is located in Quebec,Canada

server spec are :

intelcore2 quad cpu Q6600 @2.4ghz 2.4ghz
3gig ddr2

but think it is for now a home dedicated server
running on l2j latest version

sweet its slower than my computer lol. what internet connection speed did u say it had?

and i hope/assume hard drives are in a raid of some sort... which may i ask?

the connection is a cable one equivqlent to a 7mbits/s connection and for hard drives i only have one and its on my home pc whit the server but dont worry backups will be made often

its not the backups that are the problem its the speed at which they read.

yeah, but for such a low population right now, its no big deal. but when seiges of 100+ people start to happen, id recommend getting at bare minimum a RAID-0 and possibly an extra hard drive for backup. or RAID 0+1.
